Ms. Roohia Khanam is a researcher in molecular endocrinology. Apart from her research experience, she has also engaged in scientific writing, research planning, and academic collaboration with other institutions worldwide. At present, Ms. Khanam is engaged in research on obesity in an externally funded project at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University). Her research focuses on the genetic and metabolic consequences of rare hereditary disorders. As General Secretary of TOSP, Ms. Khanam has made efforts to address obesity by implementing strategic initiatives and encouraging collaboration with stakeholders. She organized awareness campaigns and research programs to combat obesity. Ms. Khanam's leadership in TOSP demonstrates her commitment to advancing public health initiatives and wellness and addressing a pressing and major health issue in Pakistan.
