Dr. Sadia Saeed is a scientist at Inserm, University of Lille, France and a Research Fellow at Imperial College London, UK with over 15 years of research experience and study of childhood obesity in Pakistan. Dr. Saeed is pioneering the understanding of the genetic basis of obesity in this part of the world and is actively transferring knowledge to pediatricians for targeted treatment and management.

Dr. Saeed has made significant contributions to our understanding of the genomic basis of obesity, publishing her findings in prestigious scientific journals and collaborating with international research projects. Her innovative research has also led to the identification of potential drug targets for obesity, paving the way for more effective therapeutic interventions.

As the President of the Obesity Society of Pakistan (TOSP), she is dedicated to addressing the challenges of childhood obesity while inspiring and mentoring the next generation of researchers.
