Dr. Qasim M. Janjua is working as an Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, National University of Science and Technology, Sohar, Oman. With more than 14 years of experience and a robust background in medical sciences and research expertise in physiology, he was committed to advancing research and education on obesity and related health issues.
Dr. Janjua has contributed to several scientific publications in prestigious (Scopus-indexed) journals, conferences, and research projects. His research spans key areas of endocrinology and metabolism with a focus on monogenic obesity, diabetes mellitus, and bone health. As Vice President of TOSP, Dr. Janjua is committed to addressing the growing obesity epidemic through research and actively promoting collaboration among healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers to enhance public awareness of obesity and improve health outcomes in Pakistan.
